Shawn Wright
Shawn Wright is an actuary with Milliman’s Denver Property & Casualty Practice. He currently provides consulting services to insurance companies, state funds, risk-retention groups, and self-insured entities. Shawn joined Milliman in 2024.
Experience
Shawn assists clients with reserve evaluations and variability analyses, ratemaking, rate filings, reinsurance analyses, financial modeling, and other special projects for workers’ compensation and other long-tailed commercial lines.
Shawn has extensive experience in the insurance industry. He was the Chief Actuary and Risk Officer for Pacific Compensation Insurance Company, where he was responsible for ratemaking, reserving, and reinsurance analyses. Before that, Shawn was the Chief Actuary for SAIF Corporation, where his areas of responsibility included reserving, ratemaking, and economic capital modeling.
Shawn partnered with Richard Sherman to make a presentation about workers' compensation tail loss development and predicting individual claim development.
