Prior to Milliman, Junfeng worked at a U.S. life insurance company for two and a half years. He was involved in financial reporting and cash-flow testing for equity-indexed annuities, as well as group life reinsurance administration.

Junfeng worked as a systems engineer in the semiconductor industry for seven years before starting his actuarial career.
