This paper reports on joint research by NAVA and Milliman aimed at demonstrating and quantifying the potential advantages of incorporating lifetime guaranteed income streams into a retirement-income plan. The research report documents the methodology, assumptions, and results of an analysis performed on three case studies representative of segments of the retirement-income market.
