Infographic: Is the coronavirus market drop the worst in DJIA history? Yes. And no.
Over the last couple of days we have seen steep declines in global equity markets driven by concerns related to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The below interactive tool allows users to explore volume and mortgage default risk with much deeper specificity compared to the MMDI. The tool allows users to segment the data by seller (i.e. the company that sold the loans to Freddie, Fannie or Ginnie), investor (i.e. Freddie, Fannie, or Ginnie), and loan purpose (i.e. Purchase vs. Refinance). The tool also enables users to better understand the components of default risk (borrower, underwriting and economic), and how these are changing over time. Additional data segmentation, including geography, credit score, loan-to-value, debt-to-income and other loan-level attributes can be obtained from Milliman through a subscription to the data.
