Romain De Harlez is a consulting actuary in the Brussels office of Milliman. He carries out consulting projects in the field of life insurance and capital management within the Benelux region.
Romain joined Milliman in 2020, and has over six years of experience in the financial industry. Before that, he worked for three years in asset management as an ALM actuary and investment solutions manager.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in a wide range of projects, including asset liability management, development of market risk internal models, hedging programs, cash-flow and balance sheet projection models, expense management, and IFRS 17 implementations.
