Rebecca is a senior healthcare management consultant with the New York office of Milliman. She joined the firm in 2005.
Experience
Since joining Milliman, Rebecca has provided consulting services to a wide range of clients, including health plans, hospital systems, pharmaceutical companies, and employers.
Her experience includes the following:
- Assessing risk contracts between payers and providers for many lines of business including MassHealth ACOs
- Financial data analytics and support for payers, provider groups and ACOs, including in the MassHealth ACO Program
- Creating data analytics and reporting plans to support the business intelligence needs of risk-based provider organizations
- Financial projections and rate feasibility studies for payers and ACOs, including the MassHealth ACO Program
- Assessing and quantifying the financial impact of market access and payer contracting strategies for pharmaceutical companies
She also has comprehensive experience with Medicare Advantage and has consulted around the reporting and optimization of the Stars bonus payment system.
Rebecca is an expert in using SQL, SAS and other tools to benchmark health benefits data, and to identify opportunities for improved network contracting, medical management, and benefit design changes.
Prior to joining Milliman, Rebecca worked for a large radiology management company where she was involved in evaluation of radiology risk arrangements, including rate calculations and analysis of utilization management programs. She also played a significant role there as technical administrator for their business intelligence software and supported the data warehouse environment.
