According to Indonesia Insurance Statistics published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Indonesian life insurance industry continued to expand in the first half of 2017. For the first six months of 2017, the industry recorded a total net premium income of IDR 70.3 trillion, a 20% growth year-on-year compared to the same period in 2016. There were two OJK regulations and 10 circular letters released during the period 1 June 2017 to 30 September 2017.
